Thank you to our friends and family who traveled, and to those who made time to help us celebrate our marriage. To our wedding party- I am proud to be your friend and lucky that you are mine.Our friend, Josh Fleisch, lead us through our elopement during Covic-19 and our wedding in 2021. We are forever grateful for his dedication to our relationship and union. To Josh's new wife, Mary, and my father, Martin Powell, thank you for the details that made our elopement special and confirming it was the right choice. Big ups to our venue, Sugar Bowl, the event coordinator Lisa Tomasi and her team for the epic space and service.

Our outdoor gathering is within county guidelines and within the head count limits under current county, state and federal protocols. Please see e-mail sent to all confirmed guests regarding a gate code, directions to the weekends events, and COVID-19 protocol. Steve and I have been watching the trends and anticipate Placer county to still have some limitations on gathering. We are working with our venue, Sugar Bowl ski resort, to apply safety measures and will follow guidelines that allow us to come together as one big family. (2/21 Whitney DeOreo)
